The turbine wheel is one of the most important parts of a turbocharger.It is resposible to transform the
energy from an engine’s exhaust gases into kinetic energy. As the turbine wheel rotates, it spins the
turbine shaft, which in turn spins the compressor wheel.When it works,it always be in a high temperature
environment.So the only material can be selected to manufacturer turbine wheel is the Inconel austenitic
nickel-chromium-iron alloy,a high strength investment casting.The materials now in wide use is K418.
